Stub Ends (Lap Joint Stub Ends)

We supply stub ends (also known as lap joint stub ends or lap joint stubs) for use with lap joint flanges. Stub ends allow easy alignment and disassembly in piping systems and are commonly used with expensive materials like stainless steel where only the stub end is in contact with the fluid.

Types & Applications

Our stub ends are manufactured to MSS SP-43 and ASME B16.9. They are used in chemical, pharmaceutical, and process piping where lap joint flanges are specified for alignment or cost savings.
